Where to Watch the Fireworks in Chicago
Fireworks are an essential part of the Fourth of July, and we’ve found the best spots for you to check them out!
South Side: 63rd Street Beach 9 p.m.
Navy Pier: 9- 9:15 p.m.
North Side: Montrose Beach, 9 p.m.
Arlington Heights: Arlington Park Racecourse, 9- 9:30 p.m. The party starts at 4 p.m. with thoroughbred racing.
Lake Forest: Deerpath Community Park fireworks: 9:30 p.m., but festival with live music and kids activities starting at 5 p.m.
Oakbrook Terrace: Terrace View Park, 9:30 p.m. Carnival rides and a picnic starting at 4 p.m with live music.
Naperville: Knoch Park, 9:30 p.m. Part of the annual Ribfest, the festival starts at 12 p.m. and is chock full of carnival, rides, games, and of course, ribs. Fireworks begin at 9:30.
North Chicago: Great Lakes Naval Base, 9:30 p.m. Laser light show along with live music!
Evanston: Clark Street Beach, 9:15.
Winnetka: Duke Childs Fields, 9:15.
Skokie: Niles West High School. 3-D Fireworks Fest begins at dusk.
